The Daytime Ceremony, from noon to 1 p.m. ET, kicks off the national celebrations with a look at the country's past, present and future. It underlines important anniversaries and themes while recognizing the diversity of the country. The show includes the Royal Canadian Air Force Centennial Flypast Show.

Then, the Evening Show will be held from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET
. The event from Canada's capital is a 2-hour free concert that unites music shows across the country including performances of rock, pop, hip-hop and folk music.

The program will be broadcast live on CBC Television, ICI Télé, CBC Gem, ICI TOU.TV (French only) and Radio-Canada.ca (French only) beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
