Workday,
a company based in the U.S. State of
California, announced it is expanding its
operations in Costa Rica and is hiring
employees at its facilities in the
America Free Zone Park in
Heredia Province. The move
is part of the firm’s
global development strategy.
The
company,
which began
operations in Costa Rica in 2024, is
introducing new processes and business units
to support its global customer base.
Workday
serves more than 500 organizations
worldwide, including over 65% of Fortune 500
companies, spanning a wide
range of
industries.
Workday
is recruiting
bilingual professionals for various roles,
including consultants, financial specialists
in collections and treasury, and software
solution analysts. Those interested in applying can

“We are
continuing to grow and invest
internationally. Costa Rica
was a key decision for the company, and it
is thanks to its human talent and
exceptional service that we’ve been
able to grow,” said
Jancy Castro, Workday Costa Rica’s
Country Director. “As we
receive more customers, we need to scale up
our support and operations. That is
where our global workforce strategy comes
in, and this country offers the conditions
to serve our partners around
the world with
excellence.”
Workday
is one of several U.S. companies investing
in Costa Rica. Recently,
ServiceNow, an AI platform for business,
has announced the expansion of its
operations in the country.
Despite
the influx of new international companies
creating jobs in the country, Costa Rica’s

indicates that more than 173,000 people are
unemployed, with men accounting for 56% of
