Argentina's  Male Soccer Team defeated Tico's squad (a term used to refer to a Costa Rican native) 3-1 in an international friendly match held on Tuesday at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in California, USA.

Argentina, despite missing injured captain Lionel Messi, managed to tie the game and then take the lead with two goals in the second half.

At 34', Costa Rica was leading the game when Manfred Alonso Ugalde scored the first goal, giving the Ticos an early 1-0 advantage in the first half of the match.

Argentina's Ángel Fabián Di María scored in the 52nd minute, bringing the score to 1-1.

At 56', Argentina reached the lead as Alexis MacAllister hit a goal to make the score 2-1.

Lautaro Martinez scored in the 76th minute, making the score 3-1 for Argentina.

Argentina attempted multiple goals but they were thwarted by Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who saved Costa Rica on many occasions with spectacular actions.

Argentina Male  Soccer Team is the current World Champion, having won the 2022 World Cup.
