I enjoy your site and the local
news there, as my daughter, with a group of Stoughtonites, continue
a long-running church-mission program to Costa Rica these two weeks.
Looks beautiful, looks inviting, and the real estate looks affordable!!
Can you get the Green Bay Packer games on TV there?
Thanks again for your news and sharing.

Thank you for a job well done. I have been a reader for only a few months,

Well, I for one think you're doing a great job, and hope to be able

On the occasion of the http://www.AMCostaRica.com first Birthday, I
wish to congratulate you all on your efforts and the refinements your publication
has taken over the past year! It has improved my enjoyment of
life, and that of others, I know! I have disseminated your Web address
to friends on both coasts of North America, as well as the Mississippi
delta and northern Europe. The usual response has been "Thanks, Bob!
I have added it to my list of 'Favorites'!" I wish to echo those
sentiments, and wish you many more successful years! Your loyal and appreciative

Birthing a new business is always tough. Far tougher in Costa Rica,
than most would imagine. I know because I have started two successfully
in the past 7 years.
You truly identified the need and filled it for me, with A.M. Costa
Rica. I hope you are making some money, because you deserve to.

The chance discovery of A.M. Costa Rica, nearly 10 months ago, has brought
this reader many a heart-felt thank yous for the wonderful and continuing
effort that Jay Brodell at A.M. Costa Rica has made in bringing us clear
and concise information regarding news, events, and viewpoints from the
perspective of Costa Rica.
A happy first, and wishes for many, many more!

All of us at The Travel Store want to wish you and your staff a very
HAPPY BIRTHDAY and wish you continued success in the future!!!
As a travel agency specializing in ''Gringo" travel it is interesting
to note how our clients probably 6 months ago only a few mentioned the
name AMCOSTARICA. Now it is almost the way most clients start a conversations
start, "Did you read it on AMCOSTARICA?????"
BEST WISHES for continued success!!

We here at Géminis del Pacifico wish you the very best in your
celebration of your one year anniversary. Though it took us until December
to find you, we have enjoyed your English online news of Costa Rica ever
since then. It has kept us informed of the daily news in Costa Rica both
during the times we were in our home in Costa Rica and when we were
at our old place back in the EE.UU.
I am part owner of a couple of small weekly papers in Chicago so I know
how much work you do. And, you do it five times per week! Great job. May
your venture be a long, happy and prosperous one. One that many of us can
enjoy for a long time to come.

Thank you for providing daily
news of Costa Rica, Central and South America this past year. Your reporting
is the kind we need while living in Costa Rica. It allows us
to feel that we at least understand a part of what is happening here.
I have given your web site to several people in the U.S. who are interested
in Costa Rica and all agree, it is great! Keep up the good work.

Congratulations on the 1st anniversary of AM Costa Rica!
Well, of *course* AM CR is valued! Obviously it had an impact
- Tico Times had to come up with a Daily News section to counter it!
Competition always benefits the consumer and, in this case, it was lucky
us, the readers. Here is a birthday song. You guess which language.
Du skan nog leva
Du skan nog leva
Du skan nog leva
överhundra år.
Och vist ska du leva
Och vist ska du leva
Och vist ska du leva
över hundra år.
Hurra! Hurra! Hurra! Hurra!

My first trip to Costa Rica was 8 years ago. I fell in love with the
people and the country during my first week. I've returned yearly and sometimes
more so since.
I found AM Costa Rica about 6 months ago and now look forward to my
daily dose of news from my "second" homeland.
I am happy to say I've returned 3 times this year and have enjoyed the
new train service to the beach on weekends...

Although I have not been reading your publication for the whole year,
it is probably one of the best things that has happened on the Internet,
lately! A good friend of mine from Jacó turned me on to you
and reading your articles has turned into a morning ritual for me. The
reporting seems to get better every week, it's factual and mostly objectively
neutral.
Keep up the good work!

CONGRATULATIONS... on a great start and completing a great first year!
GOD'S SPEED... during your second year, as you continue to grow and
provide the best English news coverage in the country. You are totally
dependable in your Monday thru Friday web publication, plus objective in
your coverage, unlike the "other source" that we have.
I know the free daily news cannot last forever... and I think most of
your subscribers will be happy to pay a reasonable subscription charge
for the excellent journalism, when that day comes.
I look forward to a clearing house, and not just a directory, for services
to the English-speaking population that can be relied upon. I know
this takes time, but would be of benefit to all of us... avoiding the rip-off's
that we encounter frequently.
Best wishes as you embark on your second year.
Dave Cameron
