The container was empty without any product registered to be exported. However, it had a route from the Turbo Port in Colombia, to Costa Rica, with the next intended stop in Barrios Port in Guatemala.
Authorities found 357 kilos of cocaine hidden in the far wall, police said.
The third shipment was found that same day in the same way at the same port in Limón Province. Police found 193 cocaine packages weighing approximately one kilogram each. Authorities detected that this second container had the same route from Colombia to Guatemala.

On May 14, the police found the second shipment of cocaine. This one was hidden between sacks of salt that were in a container that had arrived from Colombia to the APM Terminals Port in Limón Province.
According to the police report, of the 1,000 bags of salt, authorities found 26 baggies that contained 778 packages of cocaine weighing approximately one kilo each.
On May 12, the first drug shipment was detected during this month.

According to the police report, a container of pineapple juice that was ready to be shipped to Rotterdam in the Netherlands hid 1,250 packages of cocaine each weighing approximately one kilogram.
The officers were doing a routine check of the containers that were being loaded at the same APM Terminals Port.
The drugs were seized following the guideline of the Drug Control Police. Agents of the Judicial Investigation Organization continue with the investigation process to find those responsible for having hidden the drugs inside the container.
No arrests were reported in any of the cases.
According to the Ministry of Security, so far this year the police have seized 8,266 packages of cocaine in two ports: APM Terminals and Gastón Kogan in Limón.
