Jacó Beach Carnival ends this weekend

The Carnival of Jacó Beach* in Garabito, Puntarenas, has been going
through the week and will end Sunday.
The community of Jacó is inviting the public to enjoy the last
events such as a carnival, bullfights, concerts, tourist
activities, sports, and food trucks, among others.
"We launched this first edition of the Jacó 2019 Carnival with the
idea of turning them into a tradition and making them the best
carnivals in Costa Rica," said Tobías Murillo, mayor of Garabito.
Among the most attractive activities for the weekend are:
- Tonight there will be a bullfight, live concert, and all kind of
games for kids.
- Saturday there will be two races, a 5k and a 10k, free Zumba
classes, a concert with New York singer Huey Dunbar and horse
parade know as a tope.
- Sunday there will be a mountain bike ride, a CrossFit
exhibition, concerts, and the closing carnival parade.
