The company Midland Credit Management (MCM)
inaugurated its operation in La Sabana Commercial Development
building*, formerly known as Yaohan store.
Midland Credit Management, Inc. is a subsidiary of
Encore Capital Group, Inc. the largest publicly
traded debt buyer by revenue in the United States.
The company was located in Lagunilla* in Heredia and,
with its change of location, will increase its
payroll by adding 100 new employees. At present,
MCM employs 330 people and its new headquarters
has a capacity for 500 people.
Amene Ayub, general manager of MCM in Costa Rica,
said that the occupation of this building in San
José is a vote of confidence for the city.
"MCM is the first transnational company to respond
to the call of the mayor and locate ourselves in
the vicinity of the Technological City," Ayub
said.
The inauguration was also attended by the CEO of
Encore, Ashish Masih; the mayor of San José,
Johnny Araya.

negotiation skills, and advanced English. Those
