Agents of the
Judicial Investigation Organization, with the help
of Spanish Interpol, detained a 37-year-old
Nicaraguan man surnamed Enriquez, a resident in
Costa Rica, suspected of spreading child
pornography on a social chat network.
The agents' report that an alert was received by
Interpol in Madrid, Spain about an investigation
that started in October 2018.
The investigation concerned social network chat in
that country where several people from different
countries shared child pornography files.
The agents found the man suspected of child sexual
exploitation and spreading the pornographic files
in the town of Tamarindo* in the province
of Guanacaste.
The suspect was taken to the Public Ministry where
he will remain in the judicial cells until a judge
sets the pre-trial measures against him.
