The Costa Rican
firms Auxis, Softon, DNAMIC Ai, Nearcoding
and Sapiens had a stand in the Midsize
Enterprise Summit fair in Orlando, Fl.,
with the goal of positioning the country
as a quality provider in software
development and artificial intelligence
issues.
The fair receives about 250 companies every year all looking for suppliers in various technological areas such as business intelligence, software development, and applications, technical support, and services for the development of digital instruments, among others. "Midsize Enterprise Summit has become a strategic fair within the work plan to promote the country's service sector, as entrepreneurs have the opportunity to present their creations and develop relationships with about 200 IT managers in just three days," said Álvaro Piedra, from International Trades Promoters of Costa Rica. The representatives of the Costa Rican companies were also able to be part of talks about the latest trends in artificial intelligence, cloud adoption, and cybersecurity. Additionally, the representatives of the International Trade Promoters in Miami and New York made a study on the profiles and needs of the buyers that would attend this summit, to ensure a potential business with the Costa Rican companies. "Midsize Enterprise Summit has been a fruitful and uplifting experience for DNAMIC Ai, because not only have we had the opportunity to exchange ideas with new and exciting business contacts, but we have also gained new customers in the food and fashion industries, as a result of this summit," said CEO Arturo García. During the summit, Costa Rican companies used four strategies to promote their services: - Boardrooms: each company has 10 minutes to make a pitch aimed at a preselected audience of 15 decision makers. - Stand with the concept of the country brand "Esencial Costa Rica" where each company has business appointments previously scheduled by the event. - Breakouts: sessions where buyers make discussion groups about their current technology problems and trends. - Networking activities and specialized talks. According to the commercial promoter, in 2018 the exports of the services sector were over $9 billion, which represented a growth of 4.5 percent in relation to the previous year. ---------------- What other types of
entrepreneurship companies should
receive support from the international
Trades Promoters? We would like to know
your thoughts on this story. Send your
