Chepe Joven DJ Music Festival this Sunday By

The Chepe Joven Festival begins Sunday. It is a free event on Paseo Colon* for everyone and produced by the Municipality of San José. The festival will start at 9 a.m. Chepe is a nickname for the central canton of San José. The most anticipated artist are DJs Tom Enzy from Portugal, PIEM from Spain and Miguel Alanis from México. More than 20,000 people are expected for the festival. As in previous editions, a security operation will be in place coordinated by the municipality and other response institutions to provide attendees the opportunity to enjoy a show in a safe and controlled environment. The security plan includes extensive preventive measures, control posts and searches. Alcoholic beverages will be banned. In total, 60 private security officers and approximately 120 municipal police officers are being assigned to maintain in control of the activity from start to finish. There are two entrances to the festival. One entrance is between 32nd and 34th streets on Paseo Colón. The second entrance is on 36th Street in the North sector of Paseo Colon. The 2019 edition of the festival includes a rest area and food trucks with hot dogs, churros, artisanal pizza, french fries, Lebanese food, chicken, ice cream and coffee and other beverages. ---------------- Have you heard about this DJ music festival in San Jose?
