|
A.M. Costa Rica staff
The Medical Association of Costa Rica opened the option of making online payments for medical appointments for licensing exams and license renewal. The institution says that, as of this year, all payments for medical examinations should be made only online, on the official website: www.medicos.cr Also, from February 1, doctors’ offices will no longer accept payments. The institution also confirms that medical consultations will now cost ¢21,800 colones ($36). To make the payment, enter your personal data on the form on the school’s website and then enter the data for your debit or credit card to continue. Once the payment is made, you will receive a code by email which must be provided to the doctor when you arrive for your appointment. The doctor then enters the code and ID number into the files. Someone without access to the website can make the payment to the school’s account at a bank. Include full details and ID number and the appointment will be validated within 48 hours. |
