Universities of Costa Rica seek U.S.
students at NAFSA Fair in Washington

The Hispano-American Universities, UISIL, Veritas, Earth University, UNIBE, ULATINA and ULACIT, together with the Costa Rican Foreign Trade Promoter, are presenting at NAFSA Fair in Washington, United States.

Association of International Educators, NAFSA, is a non-profit professional organization for professionals in all areas of international education including education abroad, advising and administration, international student advising, campus internationalization, admissions, outreach, overseas advising, and English as a second language.

NAFSA Fair, which takes place from May 26 to May 31, involves more than 10,000 representatives from 100 countries around the world.

"This is the 6th consecutive year in which a Costa Rican delegation attends NAFSA, a fair that has become an important showcase for higher education in our country and for our universities to reach agreements such as exchanges and strategic alliances for national and international students. foreigners," said Álvaro Piedra, Export Director. "Our goal this year is to continue promoting our offer, with a special emphasis on sustainability and technology as competitive advantages of Costa Rica."

During this edition of NAFSA, a virtual reality tour about the experience of studying in Costa Rica, under the concept "The journey begins with a VR experience" is being shown in the stand of the country.

The offer promoted by Costa Rican universities ranges from student and teacher mobility programs, completion of university degrees, short courses, specialization in undergraduate degrees, doctorates, master's degrees, and Spanish language courses.

The Commerce Promoter says that some of the representatives of international universities interested in meeting with the Costa Rican representatives are: Medicine Hat College, University of Albany, Artevelde Business School, Coast Mountain College, Coast Mountain College, Technical University of Clausthal, Rice University, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, UPC University Peruvian University of Applied Sciences, Fontys University of Applied Sciences, Grand Canyon University, University of Georgia, Carleton University, Hudson Valley Community College, Empire State College, and Fairleigh Dickinson University, among others.
