The Judicial Investigation Organization is calling for the help of the public in finding a U.S. citizen identified as Dayton Dean Yets, 24 years old, who has been missing since December 26.

According to the investigators, Yets has a skull tattoo on his left arm. He entered the country as a tourist and was last seen in the Jaco Beach area of Puntarenas*. His sister, who for her security does not want her name published, filed a missing person complaint on December 26.

Investigators has published a photo of Yets on their social networks and two readers reported seeing him walking through the streets of Jaco.

A man identified as Dinier Naranjo Serrano said that "He is in Jaco, he is like homeless condition, I saw himself and he has been here for two months."

A woman identified as Pamela Samudio said that, "I've seen him near to Copey, in Jaco Beach."
