Costa Rica staff The facilities of the National Rehabilitation Center have been renovated to be used as a hospital specialized in treating patients infected with coronavirus covid-19, confirmed Social Security in their statement. It has 88 beds that could be used if other public hospitals are unable to care for people who could be infected with the virus in the next few weeks. Among the improvements were the renewal of the electrical network, the installation of an internet network, an area to attend to patients with respiratory deficiencies, air conditioning, X-ray equipment, beds, monitoring screen systems, among others. The hospital will be receiving their first patients infected with coronavirus in the next week, authorities said, in an area with 44 confirmed beds. The rest of the beds to be installed in April.
